Sugar Cane and Row Crop Production
The company owns more then 4,000 ha of land of which 2,000 ha is irrigated. The farms are located within the Mazabuka area – one of the most productive farming areas in Southern Africa. Approximately 900 ha is under sugar cane production while the balance being planted to wheat, soya, maize and avocados.
Cattle Ranching and Feedlot
The Kapinga commercial herd has been around for more than 30 years and has grown to be more than 2,000 animals today. With state-of-the-art scientific breeding stock and facilities, the team focusses on using strong genetics to produce top quality animals that can either be sold into the market or into the feedlot. Annually the company buys in and feeds more than 4,200 animals on contract. The company is in the process of building up its capacity to ultimately supply more than 200 animals per week. A key focus is producing a high quality product that can be easily recognized in the market.
Real Estate
Tanderra Ridge is a sought after residential estate located just off the main Lusaka road 3kms from Mazabuka. The estate rents out 15 houses and 1 restaurant. Adjacent to Tanderra Ridge is the commercial park that has started development.
